VonLehman is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our team as our newest Accounting Specialist!

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares/records accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other cash transactions.
  • Reconciles bank accounts.
  • Monitors cash, prepares cash reports.
  • Assists with payroll.
  • Calculates finance charges, commissions, bonuses, etc.
  • Tracks fixed assets.
  • Prepares month end customer statements.
  • Prepares sales tax returns and CAT.
  • Assists CAAS team with preparation of client financial statements.
  • Utilizes bill.com to process high volumes of invoices for clients
  • Special client projects to assist CAAS Controller.
Requirements:

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT

Associates Degree in Accounting or 2+ years of related accounting experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Ability to do research.
  • Requests additional information and/or assistance when needed.
  • Asks questions to assure efficiency.
  • Ability to complete various assignments within client deadlines.
  • Flexibility to manage multiple tasks for multiple clients.

GENERAL SKILLS

  • Experience with Microsoft Windows environment – Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Experience with QuickBooks and Bill.com preferred.
  • Is compliant with administrative tasks and deadlines, such as time entry, response to appointments, and completion of goals.
