Under general supervision of the Accounts Payable Manager supports all AP related functions in a fast-paced environment. This position requires experience and understanding of a full-cycle AP department in a Hospitality environment.
Responsibilities:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates degree with at least 4 years accounts payable experience required.- Strong attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving and organization skills basic accounting principles knowledge documentation skills research and resolution skills and multi-tasking skills required.
- Knowledge of MS Office is necessary.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills and the ability to build positive professional relationships with others.
- Ability to communicate confidently both verbally and in writing and to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner.
- Ability to work independently or within a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains and Monitors Status Charts for all Properties- Communicates to Property Management status updates and Policy enforcements
- Processes Voids and/or Re-issues checks
- Updates the Positive Pay spreadsheets with Void information
- Performs 'Due To - From Aimbridge'_ as back-up
- Assists in Audit Requests as needed: Research and Information Gathering
- Processes CAPEX for Aimbridge and Channel Point
- Supports daily workflow of A/P processing
- Partners with SR AP Analyst to assign New Properties to A/P Specialists
- Helps to coach the A/P Team to Prevent Duplicate Payments
- Recommends Process Improvements for enhanced team performance
