Accounts Payable Specialist - On behalf of our client in Frisco, TX, Procom Services is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist for a Direct Hire/FTE position. The Accounts Payable specialist will perform daily accounting activities, such as invoicing, filing, data entry, and reconciling credit card statements.
Job Responsibilities
- Compiles and sorts invoices, obtains payment approvals, and processes bills for payment.
- Researches, tracks, and resolves accounting problems, including answering inquiries and providing information to vendors and staff.
- Cuts checks on a weekly basis.
- Reviews expense reports to ensure accuracy, including those submitted through expense system.
- Performs credit card reconciliations.
- Provides back up support for RX invoicing.
- Analyzes, investigates and corrects accounting entries as needed using knowledge of accounting principles.
- Performs a variety of accounting projects based on business needs.
- Provides support as needed to support the accounting infrastructure of the organization.
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Work with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment within scope of authority
- Highly detail-oriented
- Knowledge of accounting principles
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Experience with Sage 300 ERP is not required, but highly desired
- 1+ years of accounting experience preferred, but not required.
