Job description

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist for our client in Willowick! You will be responsible for monitoring all A/R functions, ensuring payments are received for services in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
• Compute and record numerical data
• Perform data entry and administrative duties
• Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions and entering them into the general ledger or accounting software
• Work with insurance and mortgage companies for requesting deposits and collecting final payments
• Prepare, verify, and process invoices for sales rendered
• Manage all collection efforts and associated functions including sending invoice reminders and communication with customers via phone, email, fax or mail

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Associates degree in Accounting or higher preferred
• Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Strong organizational skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
