LHH Recruitment Solutions is searching for a full-time Accounts Receivable Accountant in Jeffersonville, IN. Our client is looking for an AR Accountant to lead the company’s AR process and support other accounting processes in the office. Responsibilities:
Compensation/Benefits: $60,000 - $70,000
Benefits include Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, 401K with 2% match of all compensation not just base salary, profit sharing around $3,000 - $6,000 annually, hybrid remote once acclimated (estimated 2 days in office 3 days work from home).

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparing customer statements, invoices, and bills.
- Post payments to customer accounts and monitor delinquent customer payments.
- Work to bring customer accounts up to date.
- Research, resolve, and respond to all internal and external customer inquiries.
- Prepare, analyze, monitor and act on all returns not vouchered, penalties and fine data, and past due aging.
- Manage key customer AR accounts, credit card expense reconciliation for the company, and Sales & Use Tax.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation on all customer accounts.
- Work closely with Ecommerce Support regarding online invoice reconciliation and all remittance.
- Lead and participate in persistent improvement projects.
- Support monthly close processes and provide support for Accounts Payable.
- Minimum of 4 years Accounts Receivable experience (in a high-volume manufacturing environment is a plus).
- Experience with ERP, and EDI.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent degree and/or relevant experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated collections experience
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to multitask
