The Senior System Administrator

The position is located in St Petersburg FL (33716). Some travel may be required.

Responsibilities:

• Make policy modifications to support the needs of the domain.
• Review existing configurations of the replication topology for inconsistencies and deploy new configurations during site build.
• Author PowerShell scripts to automate deployment tasks.
• Configure and troubleshoot name resolution in an Active Directory-integrated split-brain DNS environment.
• Manage the Active Directory-based activation of Windows platforms.
• Implement security enhancements as directed by the CSO.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Provide support to the umbrella of Active Directory (AD) technologies; evaluate the relationship between existing policies and plans for the introduction of those needed in the future
• Experience optimizing Directory Services infrastructure; monitor / maintain existing Directory Services environments in multiple enclaves
• Utilize Group Policy to harden resources within the environment; troubleshoot Group Policy processing issues
• Maintain DNS at service level, verifying functionality and troubleshooting issues; utilize split-brain DNS for multi-home enterprise resources
• Maintain existing AD Federated / Certificate Services technologies; working knowledge of creating / maintaining federation trusts

• Active Directory 2016, 2019, 2022 and latest version
• Group Policy
• DNS
• Active Directory Certificate Services / PKI
• Author PowerShell scripts that will be used to standup and maintain AD environment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $100.00 - $110.00 per hour
