Donalsonville Hospital Behavioral Health Units Geriatric and Adolescent has an excellent career opportunity for the following position in psychiatric program at Donalsonville Hospital in Donalsonville, GA.
Responsibilities include:
Activities therapists employ leisure activities through the use of games, sports, crafts and more, to assist patients to maintain physical and emotional well-being. Primary duties include review of medical records, personal observation and talking with the patients and families to execute a recreational program that is unique to each individual. The goal is to assess the patients' conditions and engage those patients in activities, physically and mentally, to keep them refreshed.
Required education:
Bachelor's degree in the health and human service field (i.e. social work, counseling, recreational therapy, psychology) required. Master's degree preferred.
Monday-Friday, weekends as needed.
