Job description

We are seeking a caring Activities Assistant to work with the residents of the Villa at Saint Antoine, an assisted living facility in North Smithfield, RI. The schedule for this position totals 24 hours per week, 12:30pm-8:30pm Tuesday, Wednesday, every other Sunday, and 9-5 every other Saturday (includes every other weekend and some holidays). Must be outgoing, friendly, creative and love seniors!

Responsibilities

• Facilitates activities with residents in an assisted living setting
• Provide social activities to promote communal atmosphere among residents.

Skills & Experience

• Sense of caring and concern for elderly populations.
• Reliable and self-motivated in facilitating a variety of activities.
• Ability to interact effectively with residents and staff.
