Alfred State College is searching for faculty who can teach a variety of undergraduate Student Success and/or recitation courses in lecture settings in which the faculty are responsible for all aspects of the course (i.e. attendance tracking, lesson development, lesson delivery, grading). Some adjunct positions are as the lead instructor of a co-requisite recitation course designed to assist student in furthering their understanding of one of their difficult major courses. In these co-requisite courses, communication and collaboration with faculty across campus is expected.

Computer skill development (recitation instruction)

The candidate will possess a Bachelor degree; Master's degree in counseling or related field and experience in higher education preferred. The Adjunct Faculty will demonstrate strong communications and interpersonal skills and possess secondary or postsecondary teaching and the ability to work with multicultural nontraditional students.
