JOB OVERVIEW
Responsibilities
- Leveraging your education and professional work experience in a manufacturing and/or business environment, you will provide administrative support to the entire Geismar Systems Hub (GSH) manufacturing team. Some of these activities will include tracking and reporting on open action items, Success Factors (online training activities), inventory adjustments, and monthly tank throughput and utilities usages.
- In addition to supporting the GSH team, approximately 25% of the responsibilities will include supporting the PMU Operations Director with various administrative support functions.
- Utilizing your strong business acumen, you will support procurement activities and invoice processing, act as Purchase Card coordinator for the unit, and support Workcycle invoice transactions for all manufacturing departments, including engaging suppliers and procurement to resolve discrepancies
- Manage and order operating supplies including safety supplies, shipping department consumables, operations consumables, and basic office supplies.
- Post batch production entries and of-spec material disposition for monthly production and quality reporting. This includes batch sheet and shipping documents reviews for operator accuracy.
- Your commitment to safety and efficiency will be essential as you drive safety topics and cost saving measures in the office environment
- Your proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office, MS Windows, electronic file management, and SAP is strongly preferred
- Using your ability to determine best solutions to solving problems within functional areas, you will support and continually apply ISO Quality Improvement policies and procedures
- Support the GSH supply chain team via various tasks requiring SAP knowledge and file management
- Your strong organizational skills will be critical as you are accountable for all department record retention including supply chain documents and ISO 9001 protocols
- Knowledge of and strict adherence to corporate policies and procedures
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years related experience required
Shift:
- Mon-Friday days, with some flexibility for a 9x80 schedule.
