DESCRIPTION:

Edmonds College is seeking two Administrative Service Managers. As the key point of contact for division faculty, staff, and students the Administrative Service Managers manage and oversee complex operations to ensure the instructional division runs smoothly and remains compliant with the faculty contract, college business practices and policies, and state regulations. Responsibilities include high level organizational support to the (Dean of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), Dean of Health and Human Services (HHS), or the Executive Director of Facilities Planning/Operations), schedule development and maintenance, faculty support (direct and indirect), budget management, staff supervision, and excellent customer service. Occasional evening and/or weekend hours may be required.

This is a classified-exempt position reporting to the Dean of STEM, HHS, or Executive Director of Facilities Planning/Operations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree and two years of relevant and progressively responsible experience in office management (including supervisory experience), with focus on general administrative and clerical work.
  • Established computer proficiency with advanced skills with spreadsheets, databases and word processing, such as Google and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills affording clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a professional office environment.
  • The ability to multitask, prioritize and complete projects on schedule.
  • Experience working collaboratively on projects as part of a team in complex work environments.
  • Strong organizational skills, accuracy, attention to detail, record keeping and documentation skills.
  • Ability to be flexible, responsive, and adaptive to change.


PHYSICAL WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is generally performed in an office environment. The ability to speak clearly on the telephone and use a computer is required. Recurring early/late hours (weekend/early morning/evening meetings) may be required.


COMPENSATION:

Salary range 56. Beginning salary is $57,324 - $64,788 annually, with progressive increases to $77,028, plus a full state benefits package, which includes tuition waivers for college classes, medical, dental, retirement options and more. Vacation and leave package includes 12 sick days per year, 11 scheduled holidays, 1 personal holiday, 2 personal leave days, and 14 vacation days per year (incremental increases to 24 vacation days per year).
