Black Hills Urgent Care is currently seeking to hire full-time or part-time Admissions Specialist for our Gillette, Wyoming location. Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Primary duties include greeting patients, creating and updating patient demographic and insurance information, verifying and analyzing health insurance benefits, explaining payment policies and billing/collection processes, generating charge ticket information, accepting, posting, and balancing cash drawer, scheduling follow-up appointments, ensuring the lobby area is neat and clean, and obtaining medical records as needed. Must be organized, energetic and possess a positive, and professional attitude.
Criteria:
- 2 years medical office experience preferred
- Attentive to detail and accuracy.
- Must be proficient with computers.
- Must be able to work evenings, holidays, and weekends.
