Human Services, Inc. is one of the largest outpatient community mental health providers with several locations across Chester County, PA. Since 1972, HSI has been on the forefront of providing quality services using evidenced based practices in the least intrusive manner possible.

HSI provides a comprehensive number of services including, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, Blended Case Management, Psychiatric Rehabilitation day programs, Peer Support Services through Common Ground in the Decision Support Center, Homeless Acute Case Management, a variety of Homeless Support Services and Residential Services.

HSI is currently seeking masters level and/or licensed mental health clinicians to provide outpatient therapy services to people with serious and persistent mental illness in Thorndale, Coatesville and Oxford, PA.

Job Duties:

1. Provide outpatient therapy services, including initial intake, to people with serious and persistent mental health needs.

2. When applicable, assess and diagnose people on the clinician's case load.

3. Develop treatment plan at the beginning of a person's treatment and assure plan of care is updated within the required time frame as required by HSI funding sources.

4. Complete clinical documentation in the electronic medical record system within the required time frame as stipulated by HSI funding sources.

5. Implement treatment modalities using the mental health recovery principles.

6. When appropriate, manage crisis situations involving people on the clinician's caseload.

7. Work collaboratively with other treatment team members within and outside of the organization.

8. Maintain a direct service rate of 70%.

9. Document and process persons who fail to attend appointments with the clinician in accordance with the organizations discharge policy.

10. Participate in clinical supervision as required by the particular licensure supervision requirements.

11. Other duties as necessitated by the needs of the clinician's caseload.

Required qualifications:

1. Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Pastoral Counseling or any other related field required.

2. Previous experience in mental health services.

3. Knowledge of mental health recovery principles.

4. Previous experience working with electronic medical record system.

5. LPC/LCSW licensure preferred.

6. Pursuit of licensure certification required.

7. Experience working in DBT preferred.

8. Bilingual skills (Spanish) preferred.

Other Benefits:

1. HSI will provide free or very low cost clinical supervision for those clinicians pursuing licensure in exchange for a short length of services after the person receives their applicable license.

2. Information will be provided to each clinician regarding the Federal Student Loan Forgiveness program

Pay: $29.58 - $33.29 per hour
