Looking for candidates who have a passion for youth and the outdoors. Vivid Earth Adventures Day Camps is hiring staff to help facilitate our day camp programming this summer. Job duties include teaching and assisting in the following areas:

· Rock Climbing

· Canoeing

· Caving

· Hiking

· Outdoor Skills

· Lifeguarding

Our campers are 11-15 and are looking for incredible adventure experiences that you will help facilitate by focusing on our core principles of kindness, acceptance, and contribution. You will build relationships with campers to ensure they have an amazing week at camp. We focus on creating a positive community where campers feel comfortable and accepted as they step out of their comfort zone in adventure sports. They will build skills through lessons, practice, and games. They will take healthy risks in a safe environment that you help create.

This is Vivid Earth Adventures inaugural summer. You get to help build a culture and create traditions that will last for years to come! In addition to the outdoor adventures, we will have games, activities, and breaks that promote our values and increase the appreciation of nature.

The work day is 7:30-5:30 Monday-Friday from July 3-July 28. Mandatory training is June 26-30.

Requirements:

· Over 18

· CPR/FA Certification (We can train you!)

· Ability to hike up to 6 miles a day with up to a 50lb pack

· Desire to positively impact young people’s lives

Preferred Experience:

· Canoeing

· Rock Climbing

· Lifeguard Certification (We can train you!)

· Youth Work
