This remote position will be based out of Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Delaware, with close access to a major airport.
The Aftermarket Regional Account Manager will be responsible for promoting upgrades, service contracts, rebuilds, parts, or replacement kits on existing Schenck Process equipment in the Food, Chemical and Performance Materials industries. The successful candidate will have the ability to build relationships with professionals at all levels, have a proven sales record, and can comfortably communicate technical information to customers.
Essential Job Functions:
- Travel within the Northeast territory to regularly meet with customers at production facilities to maintain and strengthen customer relationships.
- Utilize a wide variety of sales support tools, such as presentations, persuasive quotations, brochures, etc.
- Interface with Industry Managers & other Account Executives, Inside Sales, Engineering & other internal resources to achieve overall Aftermarket Sales objectives.
- Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to management, and others, on Regional Account objectives.
Requirements:
- 5+ years sales experience in industrial manufacturing equipment
- 5+ years Business to Business sales experience
- College degree or equivalent experience
- Material handling, process, industry or similar experience highly desired.
- Ability to travel approximately 40% domestically.
