Air Compressor Service Technician ( Southern California )

For over 30 years, Haringa Compressor Inc has provided customers with high quality-industrial compressed air products and solutions for automation in pneumatic controls.

Haringa Compressor Inc is currently expanding our service department and seeking (3) additional full-time Field Air Compressor Service Technicians and Refrigeration Technicians. As an industry leader, we offer competitive wages and benefits for both Advanced and Entry Level positions. This position reports to the Service Manager, whom under direct support and product training, will perform maintenance tasks as well as diagnose and repair equipment in the field in a safe and professional manner.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Perform equipment routine maintenance duties (Replacing filters, oil, valves, belts, and service parts; checking equipment for air and oil leaks or related problems, cleaning up after each service visit, documenting work completed and reporting to the customer.
• Troubleshoot and repair of industrial equipment- Field repairs.
• Provide assistance to other technicians as needed.
• Assist and coordinate with pick-up and delivery of parts for the required work to be performed.
• Manufacturers' Equipment to be serviced include: Gardner Denver, Atlas Copco, Kaeser, Ingersoll Rand Cameron, AF Compressor, Sullair, Quincy,

Kobelco, Chicago Pneumatic, Hitachi, Zeks, Ultrafilter, Donaldson, and more. * Various other service duties.SERVICE DEPARTMENT OPEN POSITION | 'Advanced-Level’ Technicians must possess the following :

• Minimum of 4-Years of Industry Experience
• Rotary & Centrifugal Compressed Air Systems Knowledge
• Advanced mechanical aptitude
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High level understanding and application of special tools
• Electrical component trouble shooting knowledge
• Valid CA drivers license ( Company Service Truck will be provided )
• Demonstrate a team-work attitude and possess good customer service skills

SERVICE DEPARTMENT OPEN POSITION | ‘Entry-Level’ Technicians must possess the following :

• Minimum of 2-Years of Technical Experience
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• good verbal and written communication skills
• knowledge and understand of mechanical tools
• Basic electrical components identification knowledge
• Valid CA drivers license ( Company Service Truck will be provided )
• Demonstrate a team-work attitude and possess good customer service skills

INSTALLATION DEPARTMENT OPEN POSITION | Pipe-Fitter / Installer must possess the following :

• Have related experience in plumbing and fitting pipe
• Experience in working with Copper Pipe, Black Iron Pipe, and/or stainless steel
• Understanding how to apply local codes and standards for pipe installations
• Good verbal, written, and communication skills
• Working knowledge of tools and equipment to complete industrial installations
• Valid CA drivers license ( Company Service Truck will be provided )
• Demonstrate a team-work attitude and possess good customer service skills

Seeking 2-4-years of technical Compressor or Refrigeration experience. Haringa Compressor and our OEM partner (Gardner Denver Compressors) will provide additional comprehensive training for Rotary Screw & Centrifugal Compressors, Refrigerated & Regenerative Air Dryers, Controls and more!

Pay: $22.00 - $45.00 per hour
