Anytime Fitness Bishop Arts is seeking a super motivated coach with people skills, integrity, teamwork, and a killer work ethic. If this is you, read on!

The COACH will collaborate with clients to develop comprehensive health and fitness programs to meet their respective goals. Coaches conduct new member onboarding sessions, private training, and small group training - delivering an effective workout which is fun, effective, and inspiring for the client. Coaches also nurture relationships (via text, email, calls, and interactions) which develop members into training clients by being surprisingly personable and accessible.

This position may begin as approximately 20 hours and expand into more, including the opportunity to become a Clinical Performance Coach in collaboration with our on-site physical therapist. APPLICANT MUST BE ABLE TO WORK EVENINGS and a few Saturdays.

Set hours and base pay are provided along with commission on training and retail sales, as well as bonuses for attendance at group sessions.

Motivation:

• Provide inspiration and encouragement for the client to assist them in obtaining their health and fitness goals. Motivate and teach clients how to improve their endurance, strength, flexibility and overall body composition. Provide positive reinforcement for optimal results.

Requirements:

• Passion and knowledge in health and fitness

• Current CPR certification or ability and willingness to become certified immediately upon hire

• Bachelor’s degree in a fitness related field preferred; HS Diploma or GED is required

• National Certification strongly desired or ability and willingness to become certified immediately upon hire

• 1-2 years of prior personal training or coaching experience preferred

• Availability 4 weeknights and some Saturday mornings

• Computer proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing, Internet, software programs, & email

• Nutrition knowledge

• Proven track record of success in sales, fitness, retail, customer service, or hospitality management

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends

• Excellent oral/written communication skills

• Personable, enthusiastic, optimistic and outgoing personality

• Positive attitude and collaborative team player

• Strong work ethic, integrity and professionalism

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $70.00 per hour

Wipes and sanitizer are available throughout the club and cleaning and disinfecting is an ongoing process.
