JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the supervision of the Accounts Payable section within the Corporate Disbursements department. This includes managing staff, supporting our customers through accurate and timely processing, and ensuring all department goals are met.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Hire, train and motivate staff to understand the department s objectives.
• Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to
• Serve as escalation path for vendors & internal customers regarding A/P issues
• Review and approve vouchers and journals.
• Complete monthly account reconciliations.
• Assist with the daily & monthly AP Close.
• Prepare AP payment forecast and oversee disbursement process
• Maintain department metrics and KPI s
• Communicate and facilitate relationships with our field operations, home office departments, and preferred suppliers.
• Support the implementation of the Coupa P2P system.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor s degree in a business-related concentration is preferred
• 5+ years accounting experience and 2+ years supervisory experience
• Experience with PeopleSoft Financials and/or Coupa P2P is a plus
• Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, formulas, etc.
• Excellent customer service including ability to interact with all levels timely and effectively
• Professional communication both written and oral
• Able to work independently with minimum direction to resolve problems
• Able to collaborate with a diverse group of team members across the business
• Capacity to perform in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
