Job Description
Develop and manage Advanced Practice Providers administrative processes to ensure compliance with State Medical Board(s), Hospital and USACS policies.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Facilitate completion and submission of state, hospital & USACS required applications and supervision agreements for Advanced Practice Providers
  • Follow up and maintain effective communication with state medical and nursing boards, clinicians and the Credentialing department to ensure all necessary information is gathered and processed within specific deadlines
  • Develop and revise processes to monitor state mandated documentation by analyzing , practices, procedures and regulations; utilization of internal and external resources
  • Facilitate and track APP evaluation process to ensure compliance with state regulations
  • Maintains APP Supervision Tracking System for initial and ongoing workflow
  • Act as a liaison between Credentialing, Compliance, Directors & APP to escalate issues
  • Coordinate with APP leadership to create and maintain a standard, site-specific template for Delineation of Privilege form completion.
  • Prepare Site/State specific written supervision and collaborative agreements and retain copies of completion, submission and/or original documentation.
  • Coordinate with Compliance and APP Leadership to review hospital contracts to ensure APP specific requirements are met

  • Ability to effectively use oral and written communication skills with clinicians, external agencies and management in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Knowledge and skills in using personal computers (Windows) with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Office Programs- Outlook, Word, Excel and also Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to maintain patience and composure in difficult situations.
  • Knowledge and understanding of a broad scope of functions within the medical licensing/compliance industry, with specific emphasis on state board regulations.
  • Ability to identify and communicate emerging issues to management.
  • Ability to exhibit a commitment to teamwork, supporting alignment with company and department goals and objectives, assisting others to develop their knowledge of the company and process, adapting to change in a positive manner and working proactively with minimal supervision.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare required or 1 year of experience with credentialing, state medical board regulations and/or other healthcare compliance experience.
Hourly Rate: $16.33 - $27.22
