Bartlett Cocke General Contractors is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Applications Manager to manage the implementation and ongoing operation of our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ERP platforms, with a focus on financial and project operations, as well as experience working in the construction industry. This role will be located onsite in any one of our regional offices: San Antonio, Houston or Austin.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Manage the implementation and ongoing operation of the ERP platform, including system configuration, data migration, testing, and training.
- Work with stakeholders across the organization to identify and prioritize business requirements, develop functional specifications, and configure the system to meet those requirements.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the platform's capabilities, features, and integrations with other software systems.
- Collaborate with project teams, departments, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving processes and workflows within the platform.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to the platform, including software licensing, maintenance, and support.
- Develop and deliver training programs for platform users at all levels of the organization, including onboarding new hires, ongoing professional development, and specialized training for advanced users.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to platform users, working with the vendor's technical support team as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience working in the construction industry.
- Bachelor s degree or higher education from an accredited college or university in the field
of Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Finance/Accounting, or Computer Science (or +4 years of applicable construction industry experience) - Understanding of how business decisions are evaluated across various departments (operations, accounting, risk, etc) and ability to apply this understanding.
- Ability to translate technical applications and issues into non-technical, layman s terms.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication (written, verbal, and visual) and analytical skills are needed.

- 3+ years of project controls, project accounting, and/or project management experience
