The JMT Technology Group is seeking an applications tester who will be responsible for testing web-based and mobile applications to ensure functionality against test cases and business requirements.

Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions

• Test solutions against established test cases/acceptance criteria
• Update and maintain work items in the issue tracking software
• Perform final testing on client site as needed
• Maintain competency in current client hardware, operating systems, and browsers
• Work with the development team to understand the testing schedule
• Document system problems and resolutions for future reference
• Assist other testers on the team as needed

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• 1+ years of experience manually testing web-based applications
• Associate’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with team members, customers and consulting partners from a broad spectrum of disciplines.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with automated testing tools to automate web based application testing
• Test plan development experience
• Experience triaging issues identified by clients

Working Conditions

Work is performed within a general hybrid office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
