About us

Kallweit Manufacturing LLC is a small business in Grand Ledge, MI. I own and operate a small machine shop in my large pole barn. I mainly manufacture LED lighting components as well as custom parts. My work load is at the max and need some one to help lighten the load. My wife and I are expecting our 2nd child on May 24th because of that the Job won't become available until July 10.

We need a hard-working individual to fulfill a Machine Operator role. In this position, the successful candidate will perform variety of tasks and use skills to maintain machinery. We're looking for a candidate who can stay on schedule, maintain productivity and is responsible for a small team of machine operators. This is an entry-level position, so we're looking for applicants who can learn quickly and are excited about experiencing career growth.

Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading CNC machines.
• Using grinders, sanders, hydraulic presses, and other equipment
• Deburring, Tapping and other finishing requirements.
• Work with a team of people and coordinate with their tasks to meet production goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $22.00 per hour
