Come join the MetroWest YMCA as our full time Aquatics Director of Instructional Programs to ensure kids and families have access to life saving swim lessons. As America’s first swim instructor the YMCA is positioned as a leader in aquatics safety in our community and we need a passionate leader to take our programs to the next level! There will be responsibilities in the following areas:

Program Management and Development

Membership Engagement and Development

Budget and Financial Management

Staff Engagement and Development

Community Involvement and Support

Facility and Risk Management

Will provide direct program delivery as needed, to include: class instruction, lifeguarding, team supervision, vacation and summer club supervision and support.

1. Four or more years’ experience in aquatics management.

2. Ability to direct programs through supervision of volunteers and staff, development and monitoring of budgets, marketing and public relations, program development and fundraising.

3. Prefer knowledge of and previous experience with diverse populations.

4. CPR, O2 and First Aid, Swim Instructor, Lifeguard, certifications are preferred. Must be able to obtain certifications if not current.

5. YMCA Swim Instructor V.6 required within 90 days of hire.
