Buena Vista, Colorado is a historical Young Life community with Frontier Ranch and Trail West Lodge sitting in its backyard. Nestled along the Collegiate Peaks this small town has rich history with good kids work. With a cast of volunteer leaders, a committed YL committee and strong financial backing, this town is poised and set up to welcome its next area director. Responsibilities:
Building diverse teams to love and walk alongside middle and high school kids. Think creatively to utilize the great outdoor space. Develop strong outreach and discipleship opportunities for kids for weekly programs along with school season and summer camping. Vision cast for the future and surrounding small towns. Willing to network and collaborate with community and local committee.
Qualifications:
- 5 years experience with Young Life.
- Previous area director experience preferred.
- College degree preferred.
- Strong relational and communication skills.
- Can effectively raise personal support outside of the community.
- Ability to network with YL properties in the area.
