WHO WE ARE:
FloraLife is a floral industry pioneer in post-harvest care and handling of fresh cut flowers. We are a globally positioned company sharing our internal knowledge, products, services, and expertise to educate every level of the floral industry.
- Responsible for direct sales to all assigned North American and Latin American accounts to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual forecast.
- For direct customers, maintains regular contact through on-site sales calls.
- Continues to develop relationships which originate from this SuperFlor division and/or Miami to help increase sales
- Completes accurate and detailed expense reports.
- Offers technical expertise in establishing proper care and handling procedures. Presents the complete company product line.
- Informs company of competitor’s activities and programs.
- Recommends new FloraLife products and marketing strategies, account reassignments, travel schedules, etc. to increase market penetration.
- Assists in developing the executive strategic plan
- Travels with other company representatives as needed.
- Documents, when asked, the on-going performance levels of SuperFlor sales representatives and related personnel.
- Leverages travel by scheduling maximum customer contact.
- Continues to make additional sales and lab work whenever possible.
- Maintains company equipment including phone, pc, etc. and product inventory in good condition.
- Communicates sales activity for self and SuperFlor team, as required
- Coordinates with FloraLife global entities to ensure a properly managed FloraLife supply in the Americas channel.
- Provides as requested support and training to other Floralife sales and other personnel.
- Supports and collaborates with the FloraLife Sales Director.
- Work to develop relationships with our North American retail floral and wholesale suppliers of certain supermarket programs nationwide
- Works with e-commerce floral suppliers
- Tests Miami flower location to help promote sales and key accounts needs
- Look for sales and distribution of outside items into Superflor channel to help meet sales goals (No Se Sleeves)
- An individual with a Bachelors or Masters degree in a business or horticulture field is strongly preferred
- An individual with approximately 10 years of sales experience with a solution-minded, subtle sales approach
- An individual with experience working in floriculture or the fresh produce industry experience is strongly preferred.
- An individual who is fluent in speaking Spanish is required
- An individual who resides in the Miami, Florida area
- An individual who has a consultative mindset and solutions oriented
- An individual who seeks to understand and has a true interest in different cultures
- An individual who is extroverted and confident
- An individual who is able to travel domestically and internationally
