We are looking for Assemblers to support our Graphics team in Akron, Ohio.
SUMMARY:
Work on the shop floor as assigned and as needed where they can fulfill the requirements of a given process/skill.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow all company policies and safety rules
- Able to read and understand work orders and manufacturing specs
- Able to read a standard tape measure
- Maintain a clean facility – good housekeeping habits required
- Knowledge of hand electric and air tools
- Assembly knowledge with mechanical fasteners, glues. Caulking and nails
- Work with both building and working with fixturing
- Operate various types of saws
- Familiar working with plastics, woods, metals and forms
- Construct crates and pallets for shipping purposes
- Tow motor experience helpful
- Have experience using both utility and exacto knives
