Miller Brother Staffing is recruiting for Assemblers for our client in Leetsdale, PA!
Shift: 2nd Shift (will train on 1st)
Pay: $18.40
Position Summary:
It is the responsibility of the Assembler/Trimmer, Rotomold Products to pull required material to assemble all types of tanks. Utilizes various tools and equipment to assemble these products to manufacturing specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Tests all tanks coming from molding operation.
- Trims all tanks after molding operation.
- Assembles all required products and inspects material for compliance to manufacturing specifications using the work instructions, work orders, sketches, engineering drawings and instructions.
- Uses various hand-tools, power-tools (screwdriver and electric drill), torch, taps, and glues for assembling and handling tanks and components.
- Inspects final assembly and/or product to ensure quality meets all specifications.
- Works in other assembly support functions including but not limited to washing, testing, rotomold, and repairing.
- Utilizes company-wide computer system to check on stock, access engineering drawings, check on work order status and other job-related manufacturing transactions as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required or work-equivalent job experience.
- Experience in assembly work is preferred.
- Experience in fluid power industry and/or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Operate an overhead crane
- Willingness to obtain Forklift Certification to drive a forklift is required.
