Description:
Lee County is searching for a highly skilled and experienced individual to work in the Facilities Construction and Management department as an Asset Coordinator. The duties and responsiblities for this position are highly technical and administrative in nature. This position will serve as the lead contact for division GIS based asset and operations management system, Cartegraph.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in information systems, prior experience working with Cartegraph or another GIS based asset and operations management system, and will be able to provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops, leads, and coordinates the department's massive asset management program, implementation, maintenance and reports.
- Assists with preventive maintenance program development and implementation.
- Creates and updates facility asset activities for all structures and locations owned and leased by Lee County.
- Investigates and documents new assets and structures.
- Tracks and maintains square footage of Lee County owned and leased structures.
- Responds to records requests regarding assets, and runs various productivity reports.
- Provides organizational, technical and analytical support for division.
- Responsible for administrative tasks and procedures, special projects and detailed research.
- Analyzes, interprets and applies policies and procedures for internal and external users.
- Assists with customer service by answering inquiries and assisting staff daily.
- Assists with data entry, to include processing daily requests and tasks as needed.
- Provides high level of customer service for over 650 internal and external customers.
Education, Experience, Licensing
Required Qualifications:
- Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to High School graduation or GED equivalent supplemented by specialized courses/training equivalent to completion of one year of college in business administration, or closely related field, and two years business administration, asset management, computer information systems, or closely related experience.
- Possession of a valid Florida Class E driver’s license is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Cartegraph or other GIS based asset and operations management system.
Supplemental Information
- The work days and hours for this position are Monday - Friday from 7:30am - 4:30pm.
