PCC is looking for a manager with a focus on fixed assets to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a solid foundation in accounting and strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. This position will work with finance and operations teams throughout the company to ensure all capital asset related activity, including assets, expenses and asset lives are properly stated and reported.
Primary Responsibilities and Areas of Involvement
- Oversee centralized fixed asset subledger and internal software system for approval, project spend tracking (CIP), completions and disposals/sales/transfers
- Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process and analyze accounting transactions for fixed assets and leases in accordance with U.S. GAAP and Company Policy
- Prepare working schedule and support documents for annual Property Tax Exemption filing and Business Property Tax filing
- Lead resource for SOX team’s performance of centralized testing and account reconciliations
- Work closely with internal business partners on CIP management to ensure timely and accurate capitalization of assets
- Manage company-wide capital lifecycle communications on a recurring periodic basis
- Engage with internal and external auditors to coordinate compliance with internal controls and substantive audit procedures
- Maintain the documentation of subledger and internal software system
- Coordinate and document regular testing of systems as necessary in support of updates and enhancements

- Contribute to a positive and helpful environment while providing users with ongoing guidance including technical support and troubleshooting
- Understanding of accounting principles as applied to fixed assets
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Tax and ADS Depreciation experience
- Familiarity with implementing/integrating/maintaining Sage FAS
- Experience conducting testing, and preparing deliverables such as design documents, test documentation, training materials, and administration/procedural guides
Qualifications
- BBA Finance or Accounting
- Mastery of Excel / Microsoft Office Suite and other technical business tools
- Minimum experience 5 – 7 years
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, accounting principles, internal controls, and financial reporting
- English fluency in both verbal and written form
