Status: Full-Time Salary FLSA Classification: Exempt
Summary of the Position: The Assistant Director is responsible for supporting the Program Director with the development of the behavioral health program, including the procurement and management of Medicaid and managed care contracts.
- Assist the Program Director in the hiring and training of new employees, providing clinical and administrative supervision of staff, and communicating weekly performance to the Program Director.
- Responsible for attending intake sessions, family team meetings, and meetings with referring authorities, community partners, and/or clients as needed
- Responsible for assisting in the clinical aspects of the program, including training activities and supervision
- Assist the Program Director with client staffing to manage the delivery of client service hours to ensure maximum and appropriate levels of weekly services
- Provide clinical and administrative supervision to assigned staff members on a weekly basis and will review all Progress Notes and documentation submitted by assigned staff
- Ensure that services are delivered in compliance with various managed care contracts, YAP Standards, and all state and federal regulations governing the delivery of service
Qualifications/Requirements: Master's Degree in a Human Service Filed from an accredited college or university
- Three to five years of related experience/Training in youth services, community programs, or program development. At least one-year related experience/training in management/supervision
- Bi-Lingual /Spanish High Preferred
- Position requires reliable transportation. Position will be required to travel within county that they supervise
- Must have a Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance with minimum limits of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability.
