At UM Capital Region Health, we’re about to changeUP everything with the opening of our new hospital in Spring 2021!
Located in Largo in the heart of Prince George’s County, our new state-of-the-art regional medical center (UM Capital Region Medical Center) will provide improved access to primary and ambulatory care services, and serve as a tertiary care center for critically ill patients. In addition, our new space will allow us to expand our offerings as a community partner to help improve the health status of Prince George’s County residents.
Under the general direction of the Respiratory Director, the Lead Respiratory Assistant coordinates and manages all activities to support the timely, efficient and cost-effective provision of materials, supplies and/or equipment for the Respiratory Department by using control systems and monitoring.
Life Support Certification:
- Basic Life Support – Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
Education/Knowledge
- Attained Level: Entry level
- Preferred: Associates Degree preferred.
- Completed Course Work/Program: High School diploma required
Applicable Experience
- Experience (years): Required: 1 year Preferred: 3 - 5 years
- Experience (describe required & preferred): One year experience in medical equipment and/or materials management.
