Job description
Faith Academy is seeking an exceptional Assistant Teacher to join our team, whose goal is to provide excellent childcare for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. The Assistant Teacher will be required to care for children and will participate in the daily educational program, helping them to excercse their bodies and minds.
Duties:
- Follow curriculum and daily schedule
- Meet children's basic needs (diapers, attention, feeding, etc.)
- Follow proper sanitation protocol
- Complete child's daily paperwork
- Participate in parent communication
Qualifications:
- Physical requirements: must be able to lift up to 35lbs frequently throughout shift
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Current First Aid/CPR certification - or complete certification within 30 days of hire
- Experience in the following a plus: customer service, cashier, CNA, retail, receptionist
