Responsible for managing & processing all daily and monthly activities associated with the fractionation, marketing and export sectors

Responsible for monthly close, margin tie out and variance analysis

Responsible for ensuring accuracy of intercompany & affiliate company transactions

Management, review & monthly reconciliation of all attendant general ledger accounts

Maintain SOX internal control processes

Assist with quarterly and annual audit process

Generate monthly, quarterly and annual reports for internal and external users

Ad hoc requests by internal management
Requirements: Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 0-2 years of related experience – can include public accounting experience within the energy sector
- Solid time management skills; ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and function independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
- Excel skills
- Problem solving with ability to recognize issues and deal with them directly
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written
- Excellent organization skills and work habits
- Able to work comfortably in fast paced, unpredictable environment
- Comfortable working in a team environment, including interaction with measurement, scheduling, commercial, contract administration and marketing departments
- Master’s degree preferred
- Experience with SAP and Entero application systems preferred
- Experience with Derivative and Hedge accounting preferred

- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
