Job Description:
We currently have an opening in our Accounts Payable Department for an Associate. Under general supervision, this AP Associate will be responsible for processing a high-volume of A/P invoices for multiple Corporate entities along with various clerical duties necessary to support the obligations of the company. This Associate will work closely with our Accounting groups as well as fellow AP associates.
- Process AP invoices, verifying proper approval and support documentation, assigning proper g/l coding, review and validation of compliance with Corporate Policies and Standards
- Process special check request payments timely and ensure handling instructions are adhered to
- Resolve invoice holds by following through on invoices with internal and external customers
- Communicating effectively and providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
- Responding to all inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Responsible for posting of month-end AP standard and Open PO accruals
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
- May assist with vendor onboarding by obtaining necessary documentation such as W9 forms, ach forms and completing phone verification of information
- Providing strong organizational skills to maintain an efficient work environment, as well as being willing to collaborate with team members
- Performing other duties as required/needed
Job Qualifications:
- Required High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office products
- Strong organizational and administrational skills with the ability to prioritize while paying close attention to detail
- Possess several key attributes including, but not limited to, clear communication, ability to maintain confidentiality, interpersonal skills, and ownership mindset
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
- Extremely positive attitude and willingness to learn and expand subject area knowledge
Annual Pay Range:
34,400 - 47,840 USD
