Bellingham, WA, law firm Carmichael Clark, P.S., established in 1914, an associate attorney to join its municipal, land use, water law, and real estate practice. Interest in litigation is a plus. Clients we serve include cities, special purpose districts, developers, and individuals.

Successful candidates will show strong analytical abilities, excellent writing skills, and the ability to communicate well. Experience preferred but not required.

Commitment to practice in Whatcom County is a must. The firm provides a great opportunity to work for an established law firm in beautiful Bellingham, where outdoor recreational opportunities abound. It also offers a person the opportunity to establish themselves in the Bellingham and Northwest Washington community. The firm provides great staff support, including paralegals and administrative staff, who have been with the firm a long time. The work environment is friendly, respectful, and team-oriented. Terms and compensation negotiable. The expected salary range for an attorney with 0 to 3 years of experience is $70,000 - $85,000. Benefits include employer-paid health insurance, health saving account, paid time off, and 401(k) with discretionary profit sharing.
