Background & Purpose of the Job
This position provides expert support, training, troubleshooting, and testing to the Customer Supply Chain user community in North America.
Who You Are & What You’ll Do
You will be part of the Customer Excellence team that helps to support the flawless execution of the day to day operations in Customer Service.
- You’re a born leader: The business will look to you to lead them in terms of policies and procedures and best practices. You will help them to get their job done the right way and in compliance with audit requirements. You will often make key decisions on behalf of the NA business as it relates to systems.
- You’re a dot connector: A key part of your role is to help investigate system issues. You will need to understand the core workings of SAP and the supply chain processes.
- You’re a teacher: You will be responsible for on-boarding all new customer support hires via the Order Management University in-person training and via the Degreed trainings online. In addition, you will conduct advanced and ad-hoc training to further educate the population.
- You’re a changemaker: Part of your role is to help assist the user community with modifying SAP to streamline processes and create efficiencies. In addition, as other countries and functional teams make changes to the system, it will be your responsibility to thoroughly test the system to ensure everything is working as designed.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
Education and Training:
- Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business-related field or relevant work experience
- 2+ years of Customer Service experience
- 4+ years of Unilever experience
- Deep technical understanding of SAP
- Strong working knowledge of the Order to Cash processes
- Foundational understanding of other core Unilever supply chain systems: BW, OTM, JDA
- Ability to understand the technical details and be able to provide an overview of those details to a non-technical audience
- Customer Service mindset that promotes approachability
- Ability to hold others accountable to ensure process compliance
- Multi-tasking will be a core component of the role as there are many facets to the role

- Strong communication and follow through
