The following position is to join our Corporate or Research Center Team:

The Associate Director, Corporate Supply Chain will lead the Contingent Labor category for Raytheon Technologies Corp. and its business units. The position will be responsible for strategy development, sourcing and negotiation, and supplier relationship management for this $1+ billion category, which encompasses both the leased labor and statement of work (SOW) external workforce.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze Contingent Labor spend by Raytheon Corporate and its business units
  • Work with the business units to forecast the need for Contingent Labor across various subcategories (e.g. Engineering, Operations)
  • Develop strategies to maximize the value (i.e. cost and quality) that Contingent Labor suppliers provide to Raytheon
  • Present Contingent Labor strategy and status updates to Corporate and Business Unit Supply Chain senior leadership
  • Lead the Contingent Labor Council comprised of stakeholders across Raytheon Corporate and its business units to drive alignment on category strategies and processes.
  • Conduct sourcing activities to select Raytheon’s preferred Contingent Labor suppliers:
  • Identify potential qualified suppliers
  • Issue RFI’s and/or RFP’s to understand supplier capabilities
  • Evaluate supplier RFI/RFP responses and down-select suppliers
  • Negotiate supplier commercial terms and Master Terms Agreements in coordination with Raytheon Legal.
  • Identify and execute cost savings initiatives in the Contingent Labor category
  • Provide critical guidance/input on the implementation of a Managed Service Provider (MSP) across Raytheon and its business units
  • Provide critical guidance/input on the selection and implementation of a Vendor Management System (VMS) across Raytheon and its business units.

Required Qualifications:

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years of experience in supply chain, contracts management, purchasing, or similar, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to function independently, influence others, and lead change
  • Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint experience
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status (Green Card)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Supply Chain experience in the Contingent Labor category, preferably with exposure to engineering
  • Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry
  • Project management experience, preferably related to the implementation of IT solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience developing supplier contracts, including strategic negotiation skills and project management skills

The salary range for this role is 139,000 USD - 277,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
