POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a creative and motivated Product Manager to join our team who will be instrumental in helping grow our business, with a specific focus on our medical cost management services that aim to improve healthcare quality and affordability for members. In this role, you will steer the direction of our technology and service offerings to ensure a differentiated value proposition and ensuring the value proposition is communicated to the market.
Responsibilities:
- Own HealthComp’s understanding of the market - customers, competitive offerings, etc.
- Define HealthComp’s products and ongoing value proposition
- Work cross-functionally to determine the best GTM strategy, set proper timelines and KPIs, and coordinate launch
- Drive usage and adoption of HealthComp’s products
- Own the bridge to sales and market understanding (e.g., marketing materials, distribution channels, etc.)
- Continuously own and re-prioritize implementation roadmap, use-cases and product development backlog
- Act as sole owner for integrated orchestration and risk management of product enhancements and new product roll-outs
- Partner with Operations to design and develop internal tools, workflows, etc. to ensure delivery of value proposition, tracking, and reporting
- Implement and monitor a tracking and reporting system to ensure metrics-driven decision-making and troubleshooting
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 2+ years of healthcare experience required
- 5+ years of work experience in product, marketing, and/or analytics/data science or 2+ years at a top-tier strategy consulting firm
- Excellent communication skills – strong written and oral communication skills proven in both marketing and executive communications contexts
- Strong analytical skills; including experience reviewing performance results and making recommendations for future actions
- Strong financial and business acumen
- Dynamic, motivating, and entrepreneurial-minded with an internal drive to continuously hit goals and deadlines. Proactive mentality with curiosity and desire to learn.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects, ability to meet deadlines, and strong attention to detail
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office including Word and Excel and PowerPoint
