Associate Project Manager
Job description
California Rail Builders is one of three the design build contractors on the California High-Speed Rail Project. Our project is located within the counties of Tulare and Kern, and the cities of Shafter and Wasco. It is bounded by a point approximately one mile north of the Tulare-Kern County Line to the north and Poplar Avenue to the south. The project alignment will extend approximately 22 miles in length. Major work elements include construction of at-grade, retained fill, and aerial track sections.
The position of Associate Project Manager/Field Engineer will provide technical and functional support related to construction activities in the field and office.
Responsibilities
Perform quantity take-offs.
Perform cost estimates.
Prepare labor schedules.
Order and Receive materials, supplies, tools, and equipment.
Process change orders.
Recommend solutions to design changes throughout construction process.
Manage subcontractor scope of work respective to various contracts.
- Coordination of field works with other Departments (HSQE) and Client
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Science, or equivalent
- Experience of project management in civil works or heavy construction preferred
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Project), Adobe Acrobat
