POSITION SUMMARY
The Atlanta Falcons brand marketing team is charged with developing and delivering a strategic, comprehensive direction for the Falcons brand. Aspects of this direction include, but are not limited to, brand narrative and creative direction development, ticket sales and service marketing, sponsorship marketing, grassroots marketing, retail marketing, influencer marketing and much more. This talented group leverages the entire marketing mix across brand strategy, advertising, digital engagement and media outreach to create emotional connections with our fans both locally and nationally.
As a critical member of this group, the Atlanta Falcons Brand Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting with ideation, planning, execution and measurement of all Falcons brand marketing initiatives and activations. He/she will report to the Atlanta Falcons Experiential Marketing Manager.
With a sharp focus on elevating our brand, he/she will serve an integral role on the Atlanta Falcons Brand Marketing team. The team leads all brand, marketing, advertising, in-market fan engagement initiatives and in integrated partnership with all digital, in-stadium, media and community relations activities.
This high-profile, fast-paced, challenging opportunity requires an energetic, proactive brand steward to help develop clearly defined strategies, communicate our brand identity as well as meet our ongoing sales demand. The position requires strong leadership, collaboration and organization skills with the ability to translate consumer insights and market understanding into detailed and meaningful marketing strategies that enhance brand affinity and significantly contribute to sales and ticketing business objectives. Must have a data-driven mindset with an expertise in dissecting and understanding target audiences in order to foster long term brand loyalty.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide assistance on all ideation, planning, execution and measurement of all Falcons brand marketing initiatives and activations while managing deliverables in an efficient, timely manner.
- Manage team’s official grassroots marketing street team.
- Responsible for developing initiatives and activations that will maximize the brand's awareness, build a deeper connection to fans and drive qualified sales leads. This will be done through creation and deployment of experiential content that is meaningful to both fans, season ticket members and our partners.
- Bring innovative ideas and a highly collaborative mindset to the team to create content that resonates with multiple target demographics to inspire Falcons fans and ultimately drives business results.
- Monitor, measure, and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives as they relate to the overall brand, business and sales objectives.
- Serve as a key liaison between the brand marketing team and other internal teams to ensure maximized and efficient productivity.
- Clear understanding of omni-channel marketing, mapping the fan journey and ability to pull the right levers within key marketing systems to achieve both brand and business goals.
- Keen understanding of relevant tools to help measure ROI for all initiatives.
- Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management.
- Create and maintain metrics reports tying together the marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact.
- Analyze CRM and additional market data to develop insights and make recommendations on target areas for implementation.
SKILLS
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-first environment managing multiple projects at once.
- Proven experience in brand marketing; ancillary experience in communications and/or community relations is also encouraged.
- Ability to help solve unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business.
- Understanding and ability to contribute to the overall Falcons brand strategy.
- Knowledge and execution of marketing, data and insights gathering, and measurement is a must.
- Presents complex ideas, anticipates potential objections and persuades others to adopt a different point of view when necessary.
- Must be able to work with a multitude of marketing and business backgrounds but help foster an organization-wide culture that consistently seeks to translate data into emotion.
QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree as well as 2-5 years of experience in marketing; ancillary experience in communications and/or community relations is also encouraged.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Demonstrated experience with reporting and data analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
- Work closely across marketing, digital and communications team to maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all initiatives.
- Experience handling marketing budgets and forecasting/reporting results.
- Experience working within a sports and/or consumer brand and high-paced, demanding professional setting is required.
- Preferred experience with CRM analysis.
- Must be experienced in briefing and helping lead creative efforts for a brand.
- Must understand digital/social media and how to translate experiential content into successful digital storytelling.
- Must have a passion for continuous learning.
