Job Summary: Performs all aspects of audit work, from planning to field work to report presentation for this complex SUNY health care organization encompassing a medical university, hospital, medical service groups, foundations and numerous other related entities. Field work will include tests of disbursements, receipts, inventories and account balances, as well as more complex tasks such as documenting and evaluating internal controls. Determines if New York State and other applicable guidelines have been adhered to, document and evaluate internal controls, and consolidate information for the New York State Internal Control Program. May also be involved in investigation of criminal matters. Assist with processing and responding to Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) and Personal Privacy Protection Law (PPPL) requests. Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Minimum 2 years experience in an audit or accounting/business environment, plus excellent written/oral communication and analytical skills; good working knowledge of microcomputer spreadsheets and word processing software required. Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor or related certification and/or Masters degree preferred.
