Are you a car person? Do you have sandblasting skills? We need you! We're seeking an auto body sandblaster for a busy shop in the Fridley area. This auto body sandblaster position is on the first shift and is responsible for stripping the surface of parts and preparing them for the paint shop.
Location: Fridley, MN
Hours: 7 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday
Wage: $18 - 22/hr.

Duties of the auto body sandblaster:
- Sandblast strips a surface of dirt, rust, old paint, and grease, and prepare it for refinishing and repair using pneumatic, electrical, or mechanical equipment
- Use abrasive blasting equipment to remove paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt
- Shovel or pour sand, grit, or other abrasive material into the machine, and maintain an adequate supply of the abrasive in the hopper
- Use of masking film, tape, and rubber
- Lift, carry, and set up heavy equipment and parts onto racks, into tumbling barrels, or into cabinets
- Prepare parts for the paint shop, steam cleaning motors, and chassis, and other general labor duties
