Collision Repair Technician/Auto Body Technician

CARSTAR of Lebanon is seeking to hire Auto Body Technicians for a new CARSTAR location!

Responsibilities:

• Complete disassembly of the vehicle to examine the damages to plan the repair process.
• Works and communicates with others to keep all vehicles on schedule for on-time delivery.
• Performing complete light to heavy repairs, including structural repairs
• Performs quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mind.
• Makes decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost and cycle time.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools.
• Attend daily release meetings

Experience/Skill Requirements:

• Skilled Auto Body Technician with great attention to detail and quality
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Ability to work in a high volume shop environment
• Ability to manage time and workflow of cars
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certified preferred.
• Strong, consistent attention to detail.
• Positive, can-do attitude with the desire to work in a team setting

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Essential physical requirements include:

• Ability to stoop, bend and kneel, squat, kneel and pulling
• Extended periods of kneeling, bending, squatting and stooping
• Carry and lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs)
• Standing, sitting and walking
• Performing repetitive motions

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Exposure to:

• Paint, fumes and particles
• Dirt / Dust
• Chemicals / Toxins
• Varying heat / cold
• Intermittent noise
