Compensation: Target base salary ~$80K to $100K

Position Description
As an Automation Design Engineer, you will assist in the programming and implementation of the SolidWorks design process, utilizing DriveWorks software. In this role you will modify existing company designs and build Driveworks projects that can be accessed by customers from the web or used in-house to quote products. The goal of all projects is to streamline and automate the creation of models, drawings and quotes in order to increase throughput. Some other specific responsibilities / requirements include:
- Develop automated design solutions in DriveWorks.
- Work with others to collect and organize design requirements.
- Design in SolidWorks or with a SolidWorks designer.
- Implement initial and ongoing design automation training.
- Coordinate SQL data communication.
- Implement web-based quoting tools for customers to build and receive quotes online.
- Experience with DriveWorks required.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant engineering degree (like Manufacturing, Electrical, Computer Science, etc.) would be preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCad, Solidworks, MS Office with knowledge of Driveworks concepts, 3D modeling software and basic understanding of programming, would definitely give you an edge over the rest of the candidates applying for this role.
