Do you have prior Service Advisor experience working in a fast-paced dealership? Are you passionate about delivering a unique customer experience each and every day? If you answered yes, we want to talk to you right away!

The Automotive Service Advisor will initiate automotive services and repairs by ascertaining performance problems and service requests; verify warranty and service contract coverage; develop estimates; write repair orders; maintain customer rapport and records.

What you’ll do:

• Advise customers about necessary service for routine maintenance.
• Help identify a mechanical problem by questioning the customer or doing a visual inspection or road test.
• Conduct automobile inspections, check vehicle maintenance records, and examine service schedules.
• Confer with customers about inspection results, recommend corrective procedures; prepare work order for needed repairs showing time, cost, and labor estimates for service.
• Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle; obtain customer approval of estimates.
• Explain work performed and charges to the customer.
• Handle customer complaints.
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage.
• Maintain automotive records by recording problems and corrective actions planned.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' publications.

What we are looking for:

• Past experience as a Service Advisor, Assistant Lane Manager or Service Consultant is a must for this position
• Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction with a previous dealership
• A desire for a long term career with a growing organization
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills
• ADP/CDK computer experience a plus
• Experience and desire to work with technology
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
