Qualifications

• Must be proficient in computer diagnostic; computer programming & reflash; strong background on mechanical repairs (oil change services, engine tune-ups, steering & suspension, brakes-ABS/traction etc)
• Must be able to solve difficult problems
• Must be able to reach wiring diagrams & follow charts
• Must have a valid & clean driver's license
• Must have tools of the trade
• Must be comfortable driving all types of vehicles
• Must be friendly with a positive attitude
• Must be able to speak, read, & write English

Responsibilities

Confer with the service advisor to obtain a description of vehicle problems

Test-drive vehicle and diagnose problems to be repaired

Perform a complete quality inspection of the vehicle to assess other recommended repairs needed

Communicate directly with the service advisor as to repairs required so that the customer can be properly informed

Providing an estimate of time, parts, and fluids needed for all repairs

Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as approved by the customer and outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy

Test drive the vehicle to ensure completed repairs are accurate and the vehicle performs correctly

Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order including all parts & fluids used to be routed to the service advisor

Also responsible for helping the other technicians or employees as needed, keeping own shop work area tidy & clean, being friendly with customers and fellow employees

HOURS: 60 Hours per week (Mon-Sat 8-6)

Provide high-quality repair services so the vehicle is fixed right the 1st time by our ASE-certified technicians
