General Description:

As a Automotive Technician, you increase your experience in one of Goodyear's Auto Service centers by working with under some of the best technicians in the business. You will continually learn in the rapidly changing automotive industry. We encourage you to allow us to invest in your success as you invest in ours; apply today!

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Complete automotive repair including: vehicle inspections, maintenance repairs, system diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges, preventative maintenance, wheel alignments, and emissions inspections.
• Demonstrate excellent guest service, which includes providing clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles Provide guidance and mentoring to junior automotive technicians
• Document all work performed on the repair order
• Promote teamwork to deliver times and accurate guest care during all operating hours

• Maintain strict adherence to Company policy on vehicle care and operation
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of automotive mechanical experience (apprentice position is available for entry level technicians with paid job training)
• Valid driver's license
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Tools
• Must be able to lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time.
Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting.

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• ASE Certification, Emission License
• Previous experience diagnosing vehicles
• Previous electrical, air conditioning, and primary and advanced fuel ignition experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
