Role: AWS Redshift DBA
Location: Chicago., IL (Hybrid or Remote)
Job Description:
- Experience: 12+ years as a DBA that include Database & Query Performance Tuning
- Hands-on DB and Server troubleshooting experience.
- Knowledge of day-to-day database operations, deployments, and development
- Extensive database experience with RDS and AWS Redshift
- Redshift and Aurora Cluster & Database Administration support
- Must have excellent Redshift experience along with DBA knowledge
- Excellent understanding of the AWS architecture (RDS, S3)
- Hands-on experience with Python scripting & Automation
- Optimizing and tuning the Redshift environment including Cluster, Database & SQL queries
- Knowledge of Data Replication, Data Sharing & Data Modelling including Logical and Physical data source
- Good knowledge of analyzing explaining plan and tune workloads to improve runtime
- Good knowledge of Workload Management within Redshift along with queue mgmt.
- Knowledge of ADFS and User Access management
- Knowledge of setting up Cloud Monitoring and Alert Metrics management
- Good to have an Apache airflow experience
- Excellent communication and a Team player
- Good to have - AWS Certified Solution Architect
Job Type: Contract
Salary: Up to $73.00 per hour
