Back Office Medical Assistant
Job description
A full-service Cardiology Group in Orange County is searching for a strong Back Office Medical Assistant.
Medical Assistant is responsible for providing the day-to day operations of a high-volume practice by providing back-office support to the Physicians and medical staff.
The Medical Assistant is accountable for providing quality patient care. Duties include scheduling appointments, answering phones, medicine refills, vitals, screening calls, maintain exam rooms and other duties as needed. Must be able to multi-task and interface with multiple physicians, staff and patients.
Pay Rate: $17.00 - $19.00/hr. DOE
Location: Fountain Valley, CA
Schedule: Monday – Friday / 8:30AM – 5:30PM
Parking: Provided onsite
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-year Back Office Medical Assistant experience in a medical environment is required
- Medical Assistant and BLS certificates required
- Cardiology experience is preferred
- Proficient in EMR software’s. EPIC is preferred
- High School diploma
