Job description

We are looking for an experienced Baker to prepare bread and a wide range of cakes and pies. Responsibilities include helping open at 7am in the morning, mixing dough, preparing cakes and pies along with assisting in other prep when needed.. To be successful in this role, you MUST have work experience as a Baker. Ultimately, you will make sure we offer fresh and delicious goods to our customers on a daily basis. We are open Tuesday through Satureday. This position can be full time or part time. If you are looking foir full time, you must have line cooking excperiernce.

Responsibilities

• Open the bakery early in the morning
• Clean kitchen equipment and tools before and after use
• Weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare dough
• Adjust oven temperatures to ensure proper baking
• Mix various ingredients to create fillings for cakes and pies
• Track food supplies

Skills

• Experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef or similar role
• Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders.
• Understanding of food safety practices
• Experience with icing cakes
• Excellent time-management skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
• Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude
• Flexibility to work in early morning shifts.
